Rachael Wood

Rachael is a Special Counsel in our Property, Commercial and Finance team.

Rachael has over 15 years’ of commercial property experience in both the ACT and NSW. She has acted for a broad range of clients, including some of Canberra’s best known property developers and builders. Rachael has also acted for lenders, government departments, universities and private individuals.

Rachael’s legal practice is heavily focused on front-end building and construction matters and ranges from advising private clients on home building contracts, to negotiating complex construction contracts for large scale property developments. Rachael is also highly experienced in property development, commercial conveyancing, commercial sales and acquisitions, commercial leasing and planning matters.

Since her admission, Rachael has worked predominantly in private practice in the ACT, however she has also worked in an ‘in-house’ legal team. As such, Rachael understands the importance of effective communication with clients, developing relationships based on trust, and providing legal advice that adds value.
